Linda talks about her passions!

I am a first-generation Asian American woman born in America.  My parents were refugees of the Vietnam War, relocated from Laos to Thailand and finally to the US.  I currently live in North Carolina with my husband and our three children.  

I am passionate about helping others –making healthcare better for patients through technology and sharing tools for others to achieve their dreams through having a positive mindset.

The Story Behind The Business

I felt as though I had plateaued in my professional and personal development.  I wanted to do something different in order to get different results, and I knew that I needed a coach who could help me change my trajectory.  How did I know I needed a coach?  High performing athletes have coaches, and high-profile leaders have coaches.  I started my search for a coach in early 2019 and spent a year researching and interviewing different coaches.  Then the pandemic hit in 2020 and it fueled me to make a decision.  When I met my life coach, Jan Edwards, it seemed as though all the stars aligned – I was in the right mindset to receive her teachings and the time was right.  Since then, I also have an executive coach whose leadership principals resonate with me.  It took me years to invest in myself, and I want to help others with affordable solutions that can be quickly implemented.

I believe the most beneficial service is the one-on-one strategy service.  This is a confidential and candid 1-hour session where I assess each individual’s situation in order to strategize a plan of action towards the desired outcome. Each person has a different set of challenges and circumstances. The one-on-one strategy session is personalized to address the needs of each individual. Needs and situations addressed could vary from one’s professional corporate career to one’s entrepreneurial endeavors.

What is the biggest challenge you faced in your business?

The biggest challenge for me was finding time to bring my business to life.  In addition to my full-time executive role, I am also a wife, mother to my three children all under the age of 8, and helper for my aging parents.  I’ve had to ask for help, set boundaries, and re-prioritize in order to work on PositiveScope.

What are you most proud of regarding your business?

Through Positive Scope, I am proud that I can help others reach their full potential.  It took me years to understand the value of investing in myself.  I can help prevent others from delaying their own greatness.
