Dr. donna talks about her passions!
As a woman warrior on a mission to empower sisters with message of hope, my passion rises when encouraging women to do the work of soul repair. My television show is affectionately named “Grace and Space” encouraging women to forgive themselves and others and allow time for healing and hope to arise.
Equally paramount is my continued passion and quest to educate families on the early signs of developmental delays, especially those in underserved communities. Enlightening moms, dads, and caregivers with stories and media that assist in creating a personal vision and future for their love one with a developmental disability. Our nonprofit Allie’s Allys, is named in honor of our daughter, Allie, she will always need an ally and individuals like her who have Special Needs.
It is difficult to break down the barriers of mistrust, misdiagnosis and marginalization that families have experienced; nevertheless, we love and offer our services free of charge and share evidence of the lives impacted, and both short- and long-term benefits of support.

She also has a coaching and consulting business, Dr. Donna Marie Hunter, that exist to empower women to repair their soul and thus rise to their fullest potential.
It all started from a call to help families, like her own, struggling with a child with Special Needs. It was a call to overcome inequities in access and services that left her own daughter without therapies and resources that could have changed the trajectory and her life outcome. Early intervention is the notable difference in children that flourish than those who struggle.
Dr. Donna has built a trusted brand with community equity and loving partnerships. Who she is and how her team shows up is everything to the people they serve and those and will serve in the future.

What are you most proud of regarding your business?
The countless lives we’ve impacted for good and the changes we see in lives of children receiving early intervention therapies and services. Additionally, our new #1 Best-selling book name in accordance with the organization, “Allie’s Ally” is a testament of community support and families we can reach with message of hope.
